Vote System Help

The document has been written to assist you in updating the end of month vote for player of the month.

Getting Started :
You will need a vote card for each of the family members who wish to vote.

go to the web site www.themavericks.uk and click the Vote Menu from the left hand menu.

Select the team that you are voting for.

Select the player that you wish to vote for
Select your own player for the card you hold
Enter your card number
Enter your PIN Number
Enter your email address (for confirmation of your vote)
Click Submit

Remember that if your player plays in a two team league you should vote for a player from both teams !

What If I forget my PIN ?
As long as you have voted at least once with a valid PIN and your email address you can request a PIN reminder from the vote page.
 
What if my PIN won't work ?
Send me an email or see David Barraclough or me (Dave Rolph) at training.

Can I Vote for myself / my player?
Sorry the system will not let you vote for the player card you hold.

When can I vote ?
You can vote any time before the vote page closes which is the 1st Friday after the month end, votes will be counted on Saturday morning and no votes after midnight on the Friday will count.
 
What if I change my mind ?
If you have voted early and then change your mind you can simply vote again - the last vote for each card counts as the one you choose. 
Why do I need three cards ?
You don't !, if you only want one vote then just use one of the cards, the idea is that the player gets their own vote and then two parents, guardians or siblings.
 
Can I Have more than three cards ?
Yes, as long as the card is for another member of the family or friend who regularly attends training or matches then we would welcome this. 
 
Do I have to do it ?
Not at all, although we would hope you do as it gives the players more encouragement to improve and sometimes means someone who missed out on a man of the match might just get rewarded through the player of the month vote.

What if a player switches teams ?
Any votes are moved with the player so they get the same chance, if a player does not appear in the correct team it is not a problem and you can still vote.
