Ryecroft
playing fields on the outskirts of Campsall is the home of the Belles
junior section.
Directions from
the A1 travelling south
- You
will see a road bridge in front of you going over the A1, this is
the A639 Pontefract junction, leave the A1 at this junction.
- BEWARE
as soon as you sweep left of the A1 onto the slip road you need to
turn sharp right onto Woodfield road.
- Do
not go over the top of the A1 on the road bridge, if so turn back.
- Continue
straight forward for 2 miles until you come to a T-junction; a small
village hall is on your right.
- Turn
left onto Sutton road and go through campsall village for ½ mile.
- The
pub, church and working men’s club are on your right.
- 200m
after the working men’s club the road sweeps round to the right at
this junction turn left onto Ryecroft Road
- You
pass the cemetery on the left, then Campsmount School.
- The
entrance to the Belles ground is 100m after the school entrance;
turn left onto the Farmers Lane, then directly left into the car
park.
