Club Complaints - Procedure

In the event that any member feels that he or she has suffered discrimination in anyway, or that the Club Policies, Rules or Code of Conduct have been broken, should follow the procedures below:

1.        They should report the matter to the Club Secretary or another member of the Committee.

Your report should include the following:

  • Details of what, when and where the occurrence took place

  • Any witness statement and names

  • Names of any others who have been treated in a similar way

  • Details of any former complaints made about the incident, date, when and to whom made

  • A preference for a solution to the incident


2.       The Clubs Management Committee will sit for any hearings that are requested

3.    The Clubs Management Committee will have the power to:

·         Warn as to future conduct

·         Suspend from membership

·         Remove from membership

·         Any person found to have broken the Clubs Code of Conduct, Rules or Policies

 

The persons in question have the right to appeal any decision, but must do so to the Club Secretary within 7 days of the Management Committee decision

Child Protection Concerns - procedure

In the event that any person has any child protection concerns regarding you people at the Club they must:

1.        Report the concern/incident to the team manager/coach or your parent representative, who will then give that person a cause for concern form.

2.       This must be completed straight away by the person reporting the concern/incident and then handed in a sealed envelope to the Clubs designated person for Child Protection.

3.       The concern will be acted upon following the FA Guidelines.

4.       If the young person involved is deemed to be in immediate danger then the designated person should be contacted straight away. If this is not possible then your team manager or parent team representative will be aware of the FA Guidelines and take the appropriate action.
