Parents & Spectators Code of Conduct

1.        Do not force your child to play

2.       Never argue with the referee or question him decision

3.       Do not coach from the touchline, this may confuse players

4.       Always praise good behaviour and applaud good play by either team

5.       Keep off the pitch-do NOT get involved, let the referee or coach deal with situation

6.       If you have a grievance regarding the team or club matters, these should be raised in
private, not in front of the children, and at the correct location not during games. Please follow the correct chain of command

7.       Help players understand the laws of the game

8.       Never shout at players who make mistakes

9.       Do not use foul and abusive language or aggressive behaviour towards fellow spectators, players or officials.

Ensure every person enjoys their sport in an environment which is free from threat of intimidation, harassment and abuse. Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person.

Players Code of Conduct

  1. Play because you enjoy football, not to please your parents or coach

  2. Players must accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance

  3. Accept the referees decision and do not argue

  4. Learn the rules and play by them

  5. Control your temper and your mouth

  6. Never fake injury

  7. Do not over react when your team scores a goal

  8. Always shake hands with your opponents at the end of the game and respect your
    opponents

  9. Always show respect to your coaches and other players in your team

  10. Encourage your team mates, don’t discourage. Never make fun of players with less ability than you

You have the right to enjoy your sport in an environment which is free from threat of intimidation, harassment and abuse. Treat everyone equally.

Managers/Coach Code of Conduct

1.             Make it fun and enjoyable for all involved

2.            Set good examples towards other teams and their managers and players

3.            Encourage fair play

4.            Always respect the officials decisions and abide by their decisions

5.            Develop players using correct coaching and training techniques suitable for the players involved

6.            Discuss problems with players and parents in private. Be honest with them about the players ability

7.            Always act in a responsible manner when representing the club

8.            Show players and parents respect

9.            Encourage your team to shake hands at the end of the game

10.          Never use abusive language, offensive insults towards players, officials or spectators

 

Respect the right and dignity and worth of every person and treat everyone equally. Oppose discriminatory behaviour and promote equality of opportunity. Ensure that everyone enjoys their sport in an environment free from threat of intimidation, harassment and abuse
